Recruitment Prospects in RBI - Grade B | Assistants | Others
This is the time when good jobs are rare. It is very important to have a good idea about all the possible options. In the recent past Reserve Bank of India has beefed up its hiring policy to emerge as a leading employer in the crunched job market. There are a lot of benefits of working at RBI (which I have covered in a different thread). But the obvious first step is to get hired before we can think of relishing the benefits. There are plenty of entry options in RBI. It is bad that RBI doesn't advertise on job sites or newspapers (except Employment News). From this article we will have enough knowledge to know about your suitability, eligibility and prospects of going to RBI.
Employee Strength of RBI
Before briefing you with RBI recruitment policy it is essential to give you an idea about the employee strength of RBI. Seniority in RBI is determined by Group. Group 'A' is lower while Group 'F' is at higher level. For example, Governor and Deputy-Governors will be in Group 'F'. All Officers from Group 'A' to 'F' are called Class-I employees. RBI also has a large number of Class-III and Class-IV employees which work as service staff.
